I have been in love with photography for almost two full decades now. It all started with a 4 megapixel Kodak camera I carried around on walks and late night adventures with friends. Then it turned into ditching my other classes in college so I could spend more time in the darkroom developing and making fine art prints from medium format negatives. Today, I mostly love capturing and remembering the fast fleeting moments in my own family, my wife, my three beautiful children... but what is it about that "work" that crosses over into being a professional?

It's personal. It's people. It's you.

I love that something that seems to be so... simple, could be so significant and long-lasting. It is so remarkable how visceral the feelings are when you are rummaging through an old box and come across a family photo that might be deteriorating and near a hundred years old. That's my goal. I want you to look back at the photos we make together, and I want you to remember the smell, the sounds, the feelings... like those ethereal dreams of past people and places we sometimes have that just feel so so real. Allow me the pleasure to serve you in this way, and together we will do our best to immortalize the most prized memories and the emotions that no one sees but that you feel so deeply.
